🚪Leaving the Server
If the server has run through its course in your life, you may at anytime decide to permanently leave. We do have a process for this, but this is to ensure that every other player's gaming experience is less affected.
Graduation
This is the term we use when a player formally leaves the server. They can opt-in or out of any ceremonies if they so choose, but by default, there is a ceremony.
What actually happens:
Here is a list of processes we ensure get taken care off with graduation:
You are kicked from any factions
If you are a faction leader/solo member, your ownership is either transferred or dissolved.
In the case of solo-membership, your faction's safe contents will be given away.
If necessary, your faction's claims will also be removed.
Your builds are made public
Unless you choose someone else to take care of your builds, they become public. This means that they are claimable by anyone.
If we deem any significant historical builds exist in your area, we may choose to preserve it.
You lose all your items
Contents of all your inventories (including your enderchest) will be given away.
Your chests are made public and anyone can take from them.
If we deem any significant historical item or artifact exist in your inventory, we may choose to preserve it.
You get to leave a written and signed book with a message
Because we will un-whitelist you and all of your data will be removed (you can have it if you want), the only actual remnant that you can leave is a signed book. This isn't tied to a user id so it should be safe.
Your username is barred from being reused
No one else can use your username, or join using your name.
You are IP banned from the server
This is for security purposes.
If you share an internet with another player, we will choose to name-ban you instead.
If you decide to play again in the same season as another user, we will reverse the IP-ban.
You are free to stay in the discord server.
