🔐Register and Login
ACCOUNT CREATION
After installing the launcher, you need to create an Account. To get started, press "Create Account".
In this screen, type in your Username, Password, and the Invite/Referral Code. After which, you must agree with the Rules and Regulations, as with the Donation Terms and Conditions.
Note: You will be unable to change your username after creating an account. Changing usernames will mean creating a new account, which will affect your Minecraft progress.
The invite code has to be a valid code provided by another player from the server. They are one-time use codes and last for 3 days.
PAYMENT
HighSkyMC Season 9 is the first season to require a membership fee. This fee is used to fund the server's monthly cost. The membership fee is non-refundable but grants lifetime membership to the server. (See Terms and Conditions)
This membership fee is PER ACCOUNT, this rule however does not apply to moderators.
You may opt to have someone else pay for you. Just make sure to enter their reference code/number in your form.
After submitting, refresh the page. This part requires a bit of patience. The review process for submissions are manual. We will email you to let you know what happened. You may also go back to the app and refresh to see if anything changes.
SUCCESS
If everything goes well, you will see this screen. After which you can play! Thank you for supporting HSMC and congratulations.
Note: In future version of the HSMC Launcher, the following will no longer be necessary.
IN-GAME LOGIN
Registration
When you first join the server, you will be unable to move, chat, and essentially - play. This is for security reasons. Everyone is required to setup a password for their account/username to ensure that only they (or the people they trust) will be able to use that account.
To register, type the following in the chat: (Replace 'password' with a memorable, secure, and unique password)
/register password password
Example:
/register MinecraftHSMC8 MinecraftHSMC8
After that, you should be done and be able to play!
Do NOT use a "real" password that you use elsewhere. While we do not have access to the passwords you use, they are hashed insecurely. An experienced developer will have no trouble unhashing (and thus, getting) your password.
Login
When you leave the server and join in at a later time, you will be asked to login. To login, type the following in the chat:
/login password
Example:
/login MinecraftHSMC8
The server usually remembers your session (keeps you logged in) for around 6 hours before requiring you to login again. Do not fret when you re-join and it doesn't ask you to login.
Forgot Password
Incase you forget your password, contact NoThrottle and he shall help you re-register. Make sure that you have joined the discord server around the same time as you joining the Minecraft Server. This is a security measure to ensure that the password reset request is valid.
